A row of white cherry blossoms created the perfect backdrop as Ashley and Lucas exchanged rings in the Georgian Ballroom of the Biltmore. From the soft blush-colored peonies in the bouquets to the handwritten escort card mirror, this wedding was magical.
Lucas and Ashley’s goal was to create an evening filled with laughter, dancing and “good food all-around.” Choosing Bold to cater their wedding was a no-brainer. Her only struggle was narrowing the menu choices down! They included Bold’s delicious Southern classics like shrimp & grits and crab cakes.
Lead Designer Steve Bales went above and beyond with the wedding’s decor. He added small touches here and there to create that “magic in the air” that each guest could feel from the ceremony to the reception. To put the cherry on top, Sue, the VIP Server, crafted beautiful plates of food for the couple’s private moment during the reception, sprinkling leftover flowers around the dish and greeting Ashley and Lucas in her lovely British accent.
The bride can recall just how delighted her aunts looked the first time they saw the chefs’ flambé at the Doughnut Went Down to Georgia Station. Ashley wanted the food to be a part of the party, and it sure was! This perfect day flew by and her only complaint was that it went by far too quickly.
