For these Texans getting married far from home, designer Brian Worley conjured up a stunning wedding reception of verdant florals, romantic candlelight, and dramatic tablescapes followed by an after-party lounge tailor-made for late night celebrating.
Stacy and Mack got married alongside 14 bridesmaids and 14 groomsmen – and the reception found them seated at an impressive 54-person head table topped with arrangements of white roses, eucalyptus, and greenery that created the classic-yet-rustic tone. The head table alone was adorned with over 100 flickering candles, and 300 more votives filled the room with soft light.
The University of Texas marching band played their alma mater’s fight song as guests moved into the after party, a ballroom transformed into an intimate lounge with burnt orange tufted sofas and more cozy candlelight. The UT longhorn and a block-print letter H for the couple’s last name made its way into the wedding logo, placed atop the fireplace.
With the designer’s deft touch, this multi-part event paired the couple’s desire for an organic, elegant wedding with personalized touches from their shared Texas traditions – and the outcome couldn’t be any more stunning.
